Team Canada will take the first step toward defending their Gold medal when they take on Team Norway in just a few hours. In 2010 the Americans gave Canada everything it could handle, but a heroic overtime goal from Sidney Crosby put the team on the top of the podium in front of a roaring hometown crowd.
Will they be able to repeat on the larger international ice surface in Sochi? They’ll have to get through Norway first. While the team might not have as many instantly recognizable names of the Canadians, this is the second consecutive time that Norway has qualified for the Olympics and they feature a roster full of players used to playing on the bigger ice.
Will that prove to be an equalizer between these two teams that don’t seem evenly matched? Or will Canada’s offensive onslaught prove to be too much for Norway to handle? Tune in to find out. Here’s how.
Date: February 13
Start Time: 12 P.M. ET

Based on the way the standings work in this tournament, even pushing Canada to overtime would give Norway a valuable point in a Group B that also features Austria and Finland.
