During the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, two story lines developed thanks to the ladies luge team. 1) Erin Hamlin became the first United States athlete to medal in individual luge competition and 2) Her teammate Kate Hansen loves to shake what her mother gave her.

Dancin’ Kate Hansen, as she has become known, gained plenty of attention for her entertaining pre-competition dance routine, so it was only fitting that she busted out those dance moves at least one final time in honor of her teammates historic finish.

Hamlin posted a video on Instagram that shows Hansen “dance-blessing” her bronze medal, which is something that everyone needs to see.

The 21-year-old Hansen finished tenth in the luge competition, but that hasn’t stopped her from enjoying every moment of her time in Sochi and soaking up the Olympic experience.

Let’s hope she comes back in 2018 and blesses the world with her dance moves once again.
