If you are hoping to see former Texas A&M Aggies quarterback and 2012 Heisman winner Johnny Manziel put on a show at the NFL Combine later this month, then you’re out of luck as “Johnny Football” won’t be throwing.
However, his agent Erik Burkhardt confirmed Manziel will throw for teams at his own personal pro day on Mar. 27.
@JManziel2 will do all of his throwing at his March 27th Pro Day & private workouts. Teams will have all the time & access they want.

Texas A&M’s Pro Day is on Mar 5. Johnny Manziel will throw at his own pro day for scouts on March 27, then have private workouts with teams

Manziel is campaigning to be the No. 1 pick in the draft and even went so far to say it would be a huge mistake if the Houston Texans passed on the Kerrville, Texas native during May’s draft.
“It would be the worst decision they’ve ever made,” he told The Houston Chronicle. “I’d be in the same division playing against them twice a year. Sorry, but you just turned that chip on my shoulder from a Frito into a Dorito.”
Not throwing at the combine isn’t unheard of for quarterbacks, but it is discouraging for talent evaluators and fans alike who want to see Manziel competing against the other top quarterbacks. But it won’t necessarily prevent him from being the top pick, but it won’t help.
