Dolphins line coach gave allegedly gay lineman male blow up doll

On Friday morning, the Ted Wells report was finally released and detailed the findings from an investigation into the Miami Dolphins situation that led offensive lineman Jonathan Martin to leave the team.

Details in the report were troubling, but it also shows that it was more than just some of the Dolphins players — Richie Incognito, Mike Pouncey and John Jerry — that were participating in harassment and emotional abuse.

According to the report,  Dolphins offensive line coach Jim Turner teased offensive lineman Nate Garner and also gave a male blow-up doll to an allegedly gay offensive lineman when the rest of the group were given female blow-up dolls as a gag gift.

Turner claims he doesn’t remember the allegation, but multiple players who were interviewed confirmed the report.

If true, which Wells’ report seems to back up, it is troubling to know that the Dolphins issues extend to their coaching staff.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is reviewing the report and will give a statement once he digests all of the information. Hopefully he will hand down some steep punishment to the Dolphins to show the rest of the league that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated.

You know its so easy to say that when you are not a dolphins fan! How about punish the players and coaches involved instead of the fan base which has already suffered enough for 17 years…. Im so sick of people wish the nfl punishes the dolphins harshly. You wouldnt say that if it was your team….. Ban the people involved from the game. But dont punish the innocent people too. There are lives and careers at stake
