The Cleveland Browns own the fourth pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, putting them on the border territory of Johnny Manziel range.
Depending on what mock draft you look at, Manziel is going any place between the first overall selection to fifth.
If he does happen to fall to fourth and the Browns have interest, Manziel wants their front office to know he’d pour his heart out for the organization and do what he could to bring them a Super Bowl victory.
“If something happens, and it’s the Cleveland Browns, I’m going to pour my heart out for the Dawg Pound and try to win a Super Bowl for Cleveland,” Manziel said to reporters John McClain of the Chronicle and Charean Williams of the Star-Telegram. “I don’t care if they’ve had 20 starting quarterbacks since 1999. I’m going to be the 21st and the guy that brought them the Super Bowl.”
Pretty bold words from Manziel, but we’d expect no different from the draft’s biggest personality.
The former Texas A&M quarterback made headlines earlier today suggesting that playing for the Dallas Cowboys would be a dream scenario.
