The Toronto Raptors are a team that have surprised a lot of people this year with their metric rise to the top — or near top — of the Eastern Conference. But while the team seems content with the moves they’ve made, that doesn’t mean they’re done changing up the roster.
Kyle Lowry’s name will continue to come up as the deadline approaches, but DeMar DeRozan has shed light on some possibly future moves by the Raptors. The star guard spoke with Steve Kyler and said the team hasn’t campaigned to keep the core together.

This doesn’t mean that the team will give up core players this trade deadline, but they very well could start selling before contracts run out. It will be interesting to see what happens, as if the Raptors trade Lowry’s expiring contract, they may start selling others as well.
