Arbitration: Josh Tomlin loses against Indians

Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports that Josh Tomlin has lost his arbitration case with the Indians.

Tomlin’s hearing was Friday. The 29-year old pitcher was asking for $975,000 with the Indians countering at $800,000. Since he lost the case, Tomlin will make $800,000 for 2014.

The right-hander pitched in only one game for the Tribe last year, throwing two scoreless innings against the White Sox after sitting out the year due to Tommy John surgery. He made $501,800 in 2013.
