The skills competition at NBA All-Star Weekend featured some early excitement as Damian Lillard and Trey Burke beat Michael Carter-Williams and Victor Oladipo by the slimmest of margins and won by .1 seconds.

Lillard is one of the NBA’s biggest breakout stars in the 2013-2014 NBA season and Burke, Carter-Williams and Oladipo are some of the top rookies who may see a finish in the Rookie of the Year Award that is as close as tonight’s skills challenge.

Next up on TNT is the three-point contest with Stephen Curry the heavy favorite to take home the title to be followed by the slam dunk contest with Paul George getting a lot of hype to win this year.

Stay tuned to FanSided all throughout the night as the NBA All-Star Weekend festivities continue and tomorrow as the NBA All-Star Game tips off at 8:00 p.m. ET on TNT.
