The Philadelphia 76ers are said to be one of the most active teams in trade talks right now – a stance that has been going on for weeks. But despite that, they’re apparently not sure if any move will be completed – this according to Steve Kyler.
Anything the 76ers do has to make sense for their bigger plan, but sure they have heard anything yet that fits that yet. Still talking.
Philadelphia has multiple players they’d like to move which include Spencer Hawes and Evan Turner (and to a lesser extent, Thaddeus Young). Hawes is a free agent at season end and Turner a restricted free agent, thus both players aren’t expected to bring back much of a return.
The Sixers have reportedly said they’d like a lottery pick for each player respectively, but that’s nothing more than a pipe dream. They may be able to secure themselves a late first round pick, especially for Turner, but even that is asking a lot.
Hawes has been linked to the Portland Trail Blazers, though nothing appears fluid with that situation while Turner has multiple suitors including the San Antonio Spurs and Charlotte Bobcats.
