The dominance from Austria in the Super-G event has continued at the Winter Olympics, with Anna Fenninger able to win the third straight gold medal for the country with a time of  1:25.52. The gold was her first Olympic medal.

Second-place in the event belonged to Germany’s Maria Hoefl-Riesch, while Fenninger’s countrywoman from Austria, Nicole Hosp, added a bronze medal to go along with the silver she won earlier in the Sochi Games in the nordic combined.

Unfortunately for Julia Mancuso of the United States, she failed to medal and finished in ninth.
