The UFC is back in Brazil this weekend on Fox Sports 1 for an exciting event. In the main event of the evening, former UFC Light Heavyweight champion, Lyoto ‘The Dragon’ Machida, takes on the former StrikeForce Light Heavyweight champion, Gegard Mousasi in a Middleweight tilt. The bout has title implications for Machida, and gives Mousasi the opportunity to play spoiler.

The co-main event is another Middleweight feature between former StrikeForce Middleweight champion, Jacare Souza, taking on the streaking Frenchman, Francis Carmont. If Machida loses to Mousasi in the main event, Jacare could cash in on a title shot with a big win here. If Carmont is able to beat Jacare, that will push his UFC record to 7-0 and his winning streak to twelve straight.

Editor-in-chief, Josh Sanchez, and I will break down each fight from the main card and predict the winners. After UFC 169, I hold a slight lead over Josh with a record of 46-26, while he stands at 44-28.
