The LSU Tigers stayed home to land their latest commitment when 3-star defensive end Isiah Washington committed to the Tigers over the weekend.
The 6’4, 225-pound Washington attends Edna Karr High School in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Edna Karr had several elite prospects in 2014. 3-tar linebacker Donnie Alexander signed with the Tigers while 5-star wide receiver Speedy Noil signed with the Texas A&M Aggies and 4-star defensive end Gerald Willis III inked with the Florida Gators.
Edna Karr is known for it’s talent and is obviously a school the Tigers would like to lock down. Landing Washington is certainly a good sign.
“I talked with Coach Frank after I had met with Coach Miles, and that’s when I let him know I wanted to commit. He was just really excited,” Washington told 24/7 Sports.
“He said it doesn’t get any better than this.”
Washington is considered the 21st best defensive end prospect, the 28th best overall prospect in the state of Louisiana and the 537th overall best prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
