The Missouri Tigers got big news over the weekend when 3-star running back Ryan Williams committed to the Tigers.
The 5’11, 185-pounder out of Lee’s Summit West High School in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, was impressed with how quickly the Tigers offered him.
“They were really the first big school to contact me for football,” Williams told Keith Niebuhr of 24/7 Sports. “I just felt like it was the right time to do it. I had a talk with my mom and she agreed.”
Williams enjoyed his visit to Missouri and plans to enroll early.
“It made me feel like I was at home,” he said. “Also, they run the same style of offense I’m used to running. I’ll get the ball. I’ve been running it for so long. Our offense is pretty much based on their offense. It’s quick. You don’t have to wait. It’s a hurry-up offense, and I like that.”
Williams is considered the 50th best running prospect, the seventh best overall prospect in the state of Missouri and the 587th best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
