Anderson Silva continues rehab, can now walk on treadmill

Anderson Silva’s updates on his recovery from the brutal leg injury he incurred at UFC 168 have been nothing short of awe-inspiring. Only two months ago fans around the world witnessed the longtime Middleweight champion screaming in agony on the Octagon floor, and today they witness his road to recovery.

First Silva posted a picture of himself in the gym. He followed that up with a short video of him walking down the stairs. Today, Silva posted another short video, and this time he is walking on a treadmill.

It is truly unbelievable to see Silva’s road to recovery played out in front of his adoring fans on social media. Silva followed that video up with a simple tweet:

The translation of Silva’s message is simple as it is poignant: “I’m coming back.”

While Silva still has a long road to recovery, MMA fans can hold out hope that he will one day return to the Octagon, and possibly return to his former glory. Regardless, Anderson Silva will always be remembered as one of the greatest martial artists to ever set foot inside the Octagon.
