Dolphins C Mike Pouncey expected to land suspension

Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey, along with Richie Incognito and John Jerry, was among three players named in the Ted Wells Report for harassing fellow offensive lineman Jonathan Martin in a series of incidents that led him to leave the team midway through the season.

Now, as NFL commissioner Roger Goodell looks through the report and gathers all of the facts, there is a growing belief that Pouncey will be handed down a suspension from the league for his involvement.

According to a report from the Miami Herald, “many around the league believe” that Pouncey’s actions will draw a suspension.

With Incognito and Jerry unlikely to return to the team, Martin likely being traded and now what appears to be a suspension coming Pouncey’s way, it is looking like the Dolphins will enter 2014 with five new starters along the offensive line.
