College Basketball Rankings: Syracuse Remains Number One

The latest Associated Press College Basketball poll has been released, and, as expected, Syracuse remains in the top spot after continuing their unbeaten season with back-to-back buzzer beater victories over Pittsburgh and North Carolina State, respectively.

But whereas Syracuse remains in the same position, many teams do not as the poll gets a major shuffling in the top 25.

Florida, which also went 2-0 last week, received one first place vote, and moved up to No. 2 in the polls. They leapfrogged Arizona after the Wildcats lost to Arizona State in their only game last week. Unbeaten Wichita State moved up one spot in the poll to No. 3. Arizona and Duke round out the top 5.

The biggest movers this week are Creighton, who moved up seven spots to No. 11 after its second blowout win over Villanova of the season, and Iowa State who fell six spots to No. 17 after losing by 25 points to unranked West Virginia.

Pittsburgh and SMU both fell out of the rankings after poor weeks. You can see the full Top 25 below.
