So you’re 25 minutes into a soccer game and during a stoppage in play, a dog runs on to the field.
A bit of an odd predicament, but one that happened on Sunday during a game between Rosario Central and River Plate in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
But as if that wasn’t enough, the dog (understandably upset and scared) decided to pop a squat right in front of one of the goals, pooping on the field much to the chagrin of the players.
Unsure of what to do, players and game officials attempted to corral the dog – but that didn’t work so well as the four-legged pup was able to elude their efforts for quite some time.
Eventually a player was able to grab the dog and then in the wildest of ways, attempted to walk the dog off the field with the dog literally walking on two legs next to him (because it wasn’t weird enough yet). That of course didn’t work so well, which is when players and officials were able to surround the dog and remove him from the pitch.
Hopefully he was given a good home.
