Greetings! It’s Monday morning, and each and every week (including last Monday), we bring you the latest look at the always entertaining race for the NBA’s Most Valuable Player Award. All-Star Weekend is now in the rear view mirror, and with those festivities over and done with (regardless of how much fun they were), the shift of the league’s focus is back on the night-by-night excellence of the league’s top talent, rather than a 3-day showcase.

For reference, the MVP “criteria” used here is the most literal sense of the word, and team success (while certainly a factor) doesn’t include or exclude any prospective candidate from the proceedings. Without further ado, let’s get it going!
