NBA Trade Rumors: Raptors GM won't rule out trading Kyle Lowry

The Toronto Raptors couldn’t get rid of Kyle Lowry fast enough earlier this year, but after the team sent Rudy Gay to Sacramento and the wins began to pile up – Lowry was yanked off the trade block.

At least, that’s what we were told.

But according to Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri, trading Lowry can’t be ruled out as the head of basketball operations suggests the team simply isn’t good enough yet to do that.

The question, as it has been for months is: Will he be around for the stretch run?

“I hate to comment about any player in that way, but I think we are not good enough so you have to keep it open,” he responded. “That’s the honest answer. These guys have done pretty good. I know we’ve won a couple of games but we haven’t done anything yet.”

In short, it seems as if Ujiri is taken the most understandable stance regarding Lowry – he’s available for the right price but they’re not going to trade for the sake of doing so.
