The Sacramento Kings have already made one of the biggest trades of the season by acquiring Rudy Gay and that came in addition to dealing for former No. 2 overall pick Derrick Williams from the Minnesota Timberwolves. But if you thought the Kings were done, you were very much mistaken, as they appear to have one more move left in them.

According to NBA guru Chuck Myron, the Kings appear primed to shop Marcus Thornton hard in the next 72 hours and will likely make another trade — albeit one on a far lesser scale than the Rudy Gay blockbuster.

"They’ve already pulled off two fairly noteworthy deals, and Vivek Ranadive just said this weekend that he’s not satisfied (not that he should be satisfied with the team, of course). They’d love to find a taker for Marcus Thornton, and Jason Thompson doesn’t really fit with the team. Then there’s Jimmer, of course, who’s on an expiring contract. I think they’ll do a deal at the deadline, but it won’t be on the level of their Rudy Gay acquisition. I’m thinking something smaller."

As far as who will take Marcus Thornton, that seems to be the million dollar question as the deadline approaches. Someone might bite at the last minute, but the Kings appear ready to be active up until the deadline.
