The NBA trade deadline is almost here and we’re starting to hear more and more rumors as the hours pass. One team that has  started to come up in trade rumors a lot as of late are the San Antonio Spurs. While good teams rarely make big moves at the deadline, the Spurs look poised to at least kick the tires on some trades before the deadline passes.

They were rumored as having interest in Evan Turner, but Sam Amico from FOX Sports hears the Spurs want Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova or Sixers trade bait Thaddeus Young.

"The Spurs, I am told, would love to land Ilyasova or Young. But no one’s sure how they could actually make that happen."

It’s one thing to want a player, as I’m sure every team in the NBA would like to land LeBron James this summer, but it’s another thing to be able to get the player you want. With very little to offer in terms of  a trade, the Spurs ma be out of luck when it comes to landing a big piece at the deadline.
