The Golden State Warriors are said to be hitting the phones in anticipation of the NBA’s upcoming trade deadline, part of that might be due to the disappointment coming from team owner Joe Lacob.
Currently sitting eighth and in the Western Conference’s final playoff spot, the Warriors are on the borderline of missing the playoffs all together and Lacob isn’t thrilled with how things have went, suggesting that he’s concerned and disturbed with how some of the season has played out.
“But some things are a little disturbing, the lack of being up for some of these games at home. That’s a concern to me. I’ve stated it before and I’ll state it again: My expectation was that we would be a serious competitor to be in the top four in the West.”
That blast of heat you just felt was the temperature under the seat of Mark Jackson getting turned up.
Still, it’s hard to complain about a team being 31-22 in the tough west.
