The Baltimore Ravens and linebacker Terrell Suggs have finally come together for a five-year deal worth $30 million according to Rotoworld. That is a manageable $6 million annually

From Rotoworld:

"Ravens signed OLB Terrell Suggs to a new five-year, $30 million contract. He’s now signed through 2018. It’s a win-win for both sides. Suggs gets to finish his career with the Ravens, while the team clears $4.6 million in much-needed cap room for 2014. Suggs would have never gotten a deal like this on the open market. He gets $16 million guaranteed. Suggs blames his lousy second half of the 2013 season on “trying to do too much,” and plans on coming back in “phenomenal shape.” The Ravens can now look to re-working Haloti Ngata’s deal."

Technically, it is a four-year extension that lower’s Suggs cap number and keeps him with the Ravens through possibly the end of his career. He was slated to have a $12.4 million salary-cap number in 2014 and make $7.8 million in salary this year.

“I can’t thank this city and these fans enough,” Suggs said, via ESPN. “The fans really spoke, and they wanted me to stay here.”
