Richie Incognito: I apologize for acting like a big baby

Richie Incognito took a brief absence from social media after repeatedly acting like a fool on Twitter, but he has made a return and immediately apologized for his behavior. Incognito hits free agency in March, so he is likely attempting to do some damage control at the advice of his agent.

“I apologize for acting like a big baby the last few days,” Incognito said.  “This has all been so much on me and my family.  I just want to play football.

“I want everyone to know I’m in good spirits and looking forward to playing again one day.”

Incognito is not expected to return to the Miami Dolphins next season and there is a good chance that the evidence against him in the Ted Wells report could lead to a suspension, so it will be interesting to see whether or not any team will be interested in adding him to the roster and bringing an interesting dynamic to their locker room.

In late of his public outbursts and harassment of a teammate and Dolphins assistant, it would be surprise if Incognito was signed before a team becomes absolutely desperate for camp bodies later in the offseason.
