Sochi Olympics: Men's Hockey MVP Odds

Prior to the start playoff rounds at the Sochi Olympics, online sportsbook Bovada has released the odds for the Men’s Hockey Olympic MVP. United States’ Phil Kessel and Canada’s Sidney Crosby lead the way as co-favorites with 11/2 odds to win the award.

Kessel is the tournament’s leading scorer with seven points in three games for the US. American hockey hero T.J. Oshie now is at 15/1 odds to be the MVP after his shootout heroics against Russia on Saturday.

The playoff rounds of the tournament kickoff on Tuesday with the the playoff qualifiers. Slovenia takes on Austria; Russia battles Norway; Switzerland faces Latvia; Czech Republic plays Slovakia. Sweden, the United States, Canada and Finland all earned a bye to the quarterfinals.
