Sochi Olympics, women's hockey USA vs. Sweden final score: Team USA reaches gold medal match with 6-1 win

The semifinals in the 2014 Winter Olympics women’s hockey tournament is underway, and we already have one team who has earned their spot in the gold medal match. The United States faced off against Sweden in the first semifinal of the day and it was Team USA who earned a spot in the final with a dominating 6-1 win.

The United States jumped out to a quick three-goal lead in the first period and never looked back.

Team USA entered the tournament as one of the gold medal favorites in the tournament and now they will get a chance to prove all of their supporters correct.
