The 6-4, 292-pound recruit already holds offers from some of the elite programs in college football with the defensing champion Florida State Seminoles, Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, Georgia Bulldogs, Michigan State Spartans, Florida Gators and Tennessee Volunteers among his offers.
Thompson has named Georgia as his leader, but Auburn and Florida State have hosted Thompson for unofficial visits on multiple occasions could be viewed as the top early challengers for Georgia to land Thompson.
Thompson is the best of a very good group of defensive tackles in this class with Tim Settle, Daylon Mack, Daron Payne and Shy Tuttle all five-star talents.
