Rapper Nicki Minaj made a lot of waves when she released the single and video for the single “Lookin Ass N***a.” In the track she calls out fake men who aren’t exactly as they portray themselves.

The song has a lot of explicit language, but here is a sample of some of the lyrics (From Rap Genius):

“Look at y’all lyin’ ass n***as
Talkin’ ’bout “It’s paid off” but it’s financed, lyin’ ass n***a”

“Look at y’all sharin’ one bottle in the club
One bottle full of bub’ ass n***as”

“Look at y’all not havin’ game ass n***as
Y’all n***as share a chain ass n***a”

Well singer Trey Songz has channeled his rap alter-ego Trigga to respond. It is interesting considering the two of them paired up for the hit song “Bottoms Up.” He points out while there may be fake men lying to try and land women, the opposite gender has their own flaws. He references the gold digger concept for example.
