Vernon Davis: Richie Incognito is a great guy

Richie Incognito has found his fair share of detractors following the bullying scandal of Jonathan Martin. He had been defiant about the claims and said the report would exonerate him, but if anything the report made him and a couple of other teammates even worse.
Still, there are those that know Incognito and haven’t seen that side of him. To them, it is a bit out of character from the Incognito they know.
“Richie Incognito is a great guy. I know him really well. When I heard about it, I didn’t think he would do anything to harm Jonathan Martin,” San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis said on Mike and Mike in the Morning, via Pro Football Talk.
He didn’t really want to talk about the victim of the bullying though.
“Jonathan Martin, you know, I don’t have anything negative to say about Jon Martin,” he said. “That has nothing to do with me.”
