Sure seems like LeBron James has yet to forgive the Dallas Mavericks for knocking him and the Miami Heat out during the 2011 NBA Finals.
After dropping 39 points in Miami against the Dallas Mavericks on November 15th, James decided to take it up another notch.
In a 117-106 win against the Mavericks, James put up a season high 42 points on 16-23 shooting. He also added 9 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals on the night.
Down 95-92, James hit back to back 3′s to give the Heat the lead for good.
This is the highest scoring total James has had in a regular season game since April 3rd. He had 41 points against the Philadelphia 76ers in a 99-93 win.
The Heat are now 38-14 on the season.
The Mavericks MVP Dirk Nowitzki also had a great all around game.
Nowitzki finished with 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists in the losing effort.
The Heat are now 6-0 against the Mavericks since losing in the 2011 finals.
