The Dallas Mavericks are hanging in there with the Miami Heat from the American Airlines Center. At the end of the first quarter they trailed by just two points after a big dunk from center DeJuan Blair to pull within two and steal some momentum.

It was a great play that saw some excellent ball movement from the Mavericks. It includes a behind the back pass from Devin Harris to Jae Crowder, who then dumps it off to a charging Blair for the dunk.

Had Dirk Nowitzki made a three seconds later before the final buzzer of the quarter they would’ve really had some momentum.
