The Cleveland Cavaliers have been active as the trade deadline nears. They appear to be searching for a big man to serve as a back up as they contend for a playoff spot, and had set their sights on Los Angeles Lakers center Chris Kaman at one point.
From Akron Beacon-Journal:
The Cavs previously discussed acquiring Chris Kaman from the Los Angeles Lakers, league sources said, but those talks have stalled.
Kaman has been struggling through the Lakers disappointing season, and they might be reluctant to trade a player with the little depth they already have as they fight through injuries.
It might be the first time a player is genuinely interested in going from the Lakers to the Cavaliers though, so there is that.
