The NBA Trade deadline is approaching and rumors are swirling around all over the internet. A lot of rumors involve the Sacramento Kings and their young players.

ESPN’s Marc Stein is reporting that Kings are willing to ship of Isaiah Thomas, but want to hold on to Ben McLemore. It is interesting given that Thomas is arguable having his best season and is the team’s second best player. Thomas has a 21.1 PER and is averaging 20.2 points and 6.3 assists per game.

McLemore on the other hand has a 7.7 PER and is averaging 7.6 points a game, of course it is his rookie season. The issue with Thomas is that he is headed towards restricted free agency.
