As we draw closer to the 2014 NBA trade deadline, we are beginning to learn more about some of the offers that teams are receiving for players that may be on the trading block. For the Boston Celtics, that means plenty of buzz surrounding guard Rajon Rondo.

One of the interested teams in Rondo’s services was the Sacramento Kings, who reportedly had an interesting offer including Ben McLemore.

From Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports:

Source said Kings and C’s discussed a deal involving Isaiah Thomas, Ben McLemore and a pick for Rajon Rondo, but Rondo wasn’t interested in re-signing with Sacramento and the Kings strongly value McLemore.

While there will be plenty of rumors regarding Rondo over the next few days, he is not expected to go anywhere.

Rondo is set to hit free agency in 2015 and he is reportedly interested in keeping all options open.
