The Milwaukee Bucks have been in and out of trade rumors all month long, and with the deadline approaching and their record sinking, the team is looking more likely to make a move. The Bucks won’t be making just any old trade that comes along, but it appears there is a market for veteran point guards, and that’s something the Bucks have.
According Yahoo! Sports Marc J. Spears, the Bucks will likely get plenty of calls about veteran guard Luke Ridnour and may end up pulling the trigger on a deal before the deadline.
With several teams looking for backup point guards, Bucks veteran reserve Luke Ridnour could be on the move.
Teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves, Washington Wizards and Sacramento Kings are all looking for veteran guards in the market and could look Milwaukee’s way. Minnesota may be less likely as they didn’t bring Ridnour back this offseason and seem hesitant to make a trade.
But if Washington, Sacramento or New York comes calling, it’s likely the Bucks pull the trigger if it lands them some draft picks.
