Currently sitting at 25-28, the Minnesota Timberwolves, while improved are likely to find themselves in the NBA’s lottery again – a far too familiar place for the struggling franchise.

That isn’t sitting well with the front office and it appears the team is open to trading anybody not named Kevin Love, this according to Sam Amick.

With Minnesota in eternal pursuit of keeping Kevin Love, rival teams given impression that anybody but Love himself is up for discussion.

The Timberwolves do have some intriguing players on their roster that are sure to get some serious attention, like Kevin Martin, Chase Budinger and Ricky Rubio – though one would assume Rubio’s price tag would be extremely high.

Minnesota would likely be more than happy to move Jose Barea and Dante Cunningham and could potentially throw them in on a deal to clear their salary, though Cunningham is an expiring unlike Barea who still has another season on the books.

Amick doesn’t go on to suggest any potential names or teams involved with any Timberwolves trade, just hints that they’re open for business – sans Kevin Love.
