Portland Trail Blazers' LaMarcus Aldridge Out With Groin Injury

The Portland Trail Blazers will be without one-half of their All-Star tandem for at least a week.

Marc Stein has reported that Blazers’ forwards LaMarcus Aldridge will be out a week with a left groin sprain.

Aldridge participated in Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game, but it hasn’t been reported if the injury was suffered during the game or during a Blazers’ practice.

Aldridge has averaged 23.9 points and 11.4 points for the 36-17 Blazers.

The Blazers have lost 6 of their last 10 games as they’ve fallen out of the top four of the Western Conference.

This also notes the first time a Blazers’ starter will miss the game this season.

Robin Lopez, Damian Lillard, Nicolas Batum, and Wesley Mathews have yet to miss a game.
