Nowitzki has notched just two triple doubles in his career. Once during the 2009-2010 season and once during the 2007-2008 season.
Nowitzki has had a 38 points and 17 rebound performance this season, so adding a third career triple double to this season’s tally would come to no surprise, even if it’s been a rare occurrence throughout his career.
