X-Men: Days of Future Past – New Character Images Released

This has certainly been the week of superhero reveals. We are getting a new trailer for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy tonight, we got a new clip from the Marvel One Shot All Hail The King, and we’ve even seen new images from X-Men: Days of Future Past. Speaking of the X-Men, Marvel has just recently released two new character images from the X-Men: Days of Future Past.

The first of which is a look at Storm. Halle Berry, who has played the role of the super charged mutant in all of the previous X-Men films, will be reprising her role in Days of Future Past.

Next, we see the rather large, and aptly named Colossus. Daniel Cudmore, who played the role in both X-Men 2 and X-Men: The Last Stand will be reprising his role in the upcoming film.

This brings us to a rather familiar face. Now, we get a look at a present day Professor X. Of course, Sir Patrick Stewart, who has played the role in all previous X-Men films (other than First Class, of course,) will be taking up the role once again in Days of Future Past.

This brings us to the young Charles Xavier played by James McAvoy. Of course, we were first introduced to this version of Professor X in 2011’s X-Men: First Class.

Now back to the present day, we will take a look at Magneto. As you could expect, the role will once again be taken up by veteran actor Sir Ian McKellen.

Taking a trip back to the past, we take a look at the younger version of Magneto, who is being played once again by Michael Fassbender.

In X-Men: Days of Future Past, a present day Professor X and Magneto task Wolverine, who is being played once again by Hugh Jackman, with going back in time and convincing a young Professor X and Magneto to help prevent a war that will eventually tear apart the world and destroy everything that we hold dear.

Combining the X-Men characters that we have come to know and love with their younger versions from First Class will give us a much better look at the entire picture and open up so many possibilities for the future.

What do you think of what you have seen so far? Are you excited to see X-Men: Days of Future Past when it hits theaters? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
