The time is almost upon us. We are just over two weeks away from the release of the latest installment in the 300 franchise entitled 300: Rise of an Empire. Over the last few months, we have brought you many different tidbits of information from the film; whether it is character posters, trailers, and much more. Today, Warner Bros. has released what may be one of the last posters for the film.

As some of you may already know, 300: Rise of an Empire will take place before, during, and after the events that took place during the battle of the mighty 300. Now that King Leonidas has fallen, the God-King Xerxes is determined, more now than ever, to burn Athens to the ground.

With the help of the bloody thirsty Artemisia and her army at his disposal he may just be able to accomplish his goal. However, in order for him to do this, he must first get past Themistocles. Thanks to the rising tensions, Themistocles is going to be forced to do something he really doesn’t want to do; form an alliance with the Spartans who have far superior troops.

I think it is safe to say that there is going to be a lot of bloodshed before this battle has been won. There is one thing we can say for sure; it will certainly be an action-packed ride.
