4-star WR Jazz Ferguson commits to LSU Tigers

Just a couple of hours after receiving a commitment from the top fullback in the country, David Ducre, the LSU Tigers got another commitment.

4-star wide receiver Jazz Ferguson gave his pledge to LSU on Wednesday.

Ferguson has great size at 6’5 and 205 lbs and like Ducre, is a local product. He attends West Feliciana High School in Saint Francisville, Louisiana.

“Jazz said he talked to his parents last night and told them he was ready to commit to LSU,” West Feliciana head coach Rob Odomn told Shea Dixon of 24/7 Sports. “I called his dad to make sure he was fine with it and his dad said they supported him fully and was on board.

“Jazz came in today and told me he was ready so he called Coach (Les) Miles and coach told him welcome aboard and they were excited to have him.”

Ferguson is ranked as the 21st overall wide receiver prospect, the seventh best overall prospect in the state of Louisiana and the 185th best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.

LSU now has the #1 overall class in 2015, passing the Alabama Crimson Tide and Texas A&M Aggies.
