Dana White on Dan Le Batard show to promote UFC 170

UFC president, Dana White, is making his media rounds this week to promote the UFC 170 event that goes down this weekend live on pay per view. In the video above, listen to Dana White on the Dan Le Batard show as he discusses UFC 170, and multiple other UFC related news.

UFC 170 is headlined by the first ever fight between two Olympians in MMA history. UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion and Olympic Bronze medalist, Ronda Rousey, will take on undefeated Silver medalist, Sara McMann in the main event of the evening.

In the co-main event, former StrikeForce Heavyweight grand prix champion and undefeated prospect, Daniel Cormier, makes his first cut to 205 as he takes on UFC newcomer, Patrick Cummins. Cormier was originally set to fight former UFC Light Heavyweight champion, Rashad Evans, for his Light Heavyweight debut. Unfortunately, Rashad sustained a leg injury just 10 days out from the bout, and the UFC brought in Cormier’s former wrestling training partner, Patrick Cummins.

Cummins was working as a barista only a week ago, and in four days will take on one of the brightest prospects in MMA. If Cummins is able to secure a victory over Cormier, it would likely be the biggest upset in UFC history.
