UFC Featherweight and OKC Police Officer, Matt Grice, is on the road to recovery after a horrific accident in September of 2013. On that night, Grice was rear-ended by a driver at a very high speed and ended up in a multiple car collision. The accident caused a traumatic brain injury for Grice, and multiple surgeries were needed to save his life.

Grice has been a trooper throughout the entire healing process and is thankfully healing well. Two months after a portion of his skull was re-attached, Grice is now back in the gym hitting pads and working out. A facebook page dedicated to Grice’s road to recovery called ‘Grice Strong’ posted picture of Matt in the gym earlier today:

This is obviously an incredible feat for Grice and we hope his recovery continues to go well. While it is unlikely he ever steps into the Octagon again, Matt still fights every day. This man is a true warrior in every sense of the word and we wish him a full and quick recovery.
