There have been a lot of trade rumors surrounding the Dallas Mavericks as the deadline approaches. Mavs owner Mark Cuban addressed the trade rumors and what they’re up to.
“We’re answering the phone, we’re always open minded,” Cuban said on the Ben & Skin show on KRLD-FM, via the Dallas Morning News. ”There’s no slam dunks. It wouldn’t shock me if we did something; it wouldn’t shock me if we didn’t. It’s weird right now. Traditionally at the trade deadline, there’s teams looking to get off of money. But most teams that needed to get off of money have gotten off of money because of the new CBA.”
Of course, don’t expect to hear about it before.
“I know what we’re talking about and not talking about,” Cuban said, via the Dallas Morning News. “We take pride in the fact that you never read about our deals before they happen. So if you read about them, you know what that means. I don’t know if we got the Beach Boys [who Love’s uncle Mike is a member of] booked.”
