The NBA trade deadline is approaching fast and that means that players are likely to be mentioned more and more as the deadline nears. One player who is in and out of trade rumors is Dion Waiters, who has been seemingly in and out of rumors for the better part of the entire month.
Sam Amico from FOX Sports reports that teams are still calling about Waiters with one unnamed team going as far as to offer a first-round pick for the former Syracuse guard.
Plenty of teams also calling #Cavs about Dion Waiters, with at least one offering 1st-round draft pick, sources say. Deal seems unlikely.

A deal indeed seems unlikely, as the Cavaliers want to see if Waiters can grown alongside Kyrie Irving. So far that seems to be progressing well, which means any trade for Waiters that that Cavaliers may have once considered can be thrown out and discarded as they appear ready to hang onto Waiters through the deadline this year.
