The New York Knicks have attempted to trade for Denver Nuggets power forward Kenneth Faried multiple times this season, so why not give it another go?
#Knicks also continue to engage DEN on the Faried-for-Shumpert front, as @ESPNSteinLine reported last week. Udrih, J. Hamilton in mix there
Faried hasn’t played well this season for the Nuggets and with his contract set to expire after next season, Denver has some important decisions to make regarding his future.
Given his low salary, he could likely be traded during the offseason (or during the NBA Draft time) with relative ease, so Denver isn’t likely to be in much of a rush to make a deal.
If they are to find a middle ground on a trade, it’s likely because the Nuggets were able to get the Knicks to take away one of their poor contracts alongside Faried – though it remains to be seen if the Knicks would be open to such.
