Sochi Olympics, women’s bobsled results: Canada wins; USA takes silver, bronze

The women’s bobsled competition is in the books at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, and Canada was able to bring home the gold medal thanks to an impressive performance by Kallie Humphries and Heather Moyse in the final runs on Wednesday.

While they missed out on the gold, the United States was able to add two medals to their overall medal count to take the lead through Day 12.

Elana Meyers and Lauryn Williams captured silver for the United States, while Jamie Greubel and Aja Evans brought home the bronze.

The third U.S. team in the competition, Jazmine Fenlator and Lolo Jones, finished just outside of the top ten in eleventh place.
