Daniel Cormier shoves Patrick Cummins at UFC 170 press conference

Things got a bit heated today at the UFC 170 pre-fight press conference. Once the media and fans finished their questions, the fighters set up for their staredowns. When it came time for Cormier and Cummins to hit the stage, Cormier shoved Cummins hard and Dana White was forced to intervene.

Brett Okamoto of ESPN posted a video of the shove which you can watch below:

Obviously Cormier is a bit heated after all of the pre-fight trash talk Cummins has thrown his way. Cummins was given the fight after Dana White found out that Cummins supposedly broke Cormier in training multiple times and even made him cry. Cormier certainly did not take kindly to the accusations, stating that Cummins went over the line and he will pay for it on Saturday night.

This card, which seemed to be on it’s last leg when Rashad Evans pulled out due to injury, suddenly has a co-main event with a lot of heat and bad blood behind it. It will certainly be interesting to see the weigh-in showdown tomorrow.
