The Indiana Pacers traded long time Pacer Danny Granger today to bolster their team.
Granger was sent to the Philadelphia 76ers for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen to add some scoring punch to their second unit.
The trade though may have not come to a surprise to the 8-year veteran.
A source close to Danny Granger told me that DG had the expectation all yr that if the #Pacers could help the team w/ a trade, he’d be dealt

Granger has seen his play and role diminish over the last two seasons due to multiple injuries, but most importantly due to the emergence of Paul George becoming the franchise player.
Granger was drafted 17th overall by the Pacers during the 2005 draft.
During his 8 years with the team he’s averaged 17.6 points and 5 rebounds per game.
In 29 games he’s averaged just 8.3 points this season off the bench.
