With the WWE Network being prepared to launch in just four days, feces is already hitting the fan. We all had a feeling that cable/satellite companies were going to fuss and complain about the WWE airing their pay per views on their network.

Why not? It’s their company, if they want to offer fans the opportunity to just pay $10 and air a $65 pay per view, then so be it? But what’s going to happen to the fans who don’t have computers or the internet who want to watch the events?

DISH Network is one of the first cable/satellite companies to fire back at the WWE. According to NoDQ.com, DISH Network has announced that they will not be offering the WWE Elimination Chamber pay per view on Sunday.

Here’s a look at the statement released by the company.

"“WWE has chosen to launch a 24/7 online network, without its TV partners, that includes all of its pay-per-view events. As WWE enters the increasingly fragmented media world by themselves, DISH will continue to consider the value of WWE pay-per-view on an event by event basis. DISH (Network) continues to provide a variety of WWE programming, including ‘WWE RAW’ on USA, ‘WWE Smackdown’ on Syfy, ‘WWE Main Event’ on Ion and ‘WWE Total Divas’ on E!. At this time, WWE pay-per-view events will not be available on DISH.” via NoDQ.com."

And just to make sure every DISH Network customer knew what was going on, they posted the following message on their Facebook page:

"“DISH (Network) will not offer the ‘WWE Elimination Chamber’ PPV on 2/23. WWE is not willing to adjust their PPV costs to satellite and cable companies, which is unfair to their customers. We need to re-focus our efforts to support partners that better serve DISH customers. Other satellite and cable companies, including DIRECTV, have also expressed they may no longer provide WWE PPV events in the future.” also via NoDQ.com."

So what do you think DISH Network customers? Do you think it”s fair for your satellite provider to take this out on WWE fans who still order via cable/satellite just because they’re unhappy?
